Olivers height

At the doctor yesterday we found out that Oliver is still bigger than 87% of kids his age!

New bed sheets!

Oliver expresed that his blankie just isnt cutting any more, by telling me he is too big for it and gets cold at night so today I took him to KMart and let him pick out a new bed set! He picked a Paw Patrol set and helped me put it together! So cute! He is so excited to jump under that comforter tonight!

Me: "Oliver, today we are gonna go to the store and get you a new bed set!"
Oliver: "yaaay! Did you hear that Alice? Mommy's never gonna go to work today and never gonna leave us and we get to go to the store!"
Me: "should we bring Alice to help pick it out?" 
Oliver: "well yes because I love her soso much. I love her so much so I tell her every day and every morning! I LOVE YOU ALICE. I just love you too mommy. Soooooooooo much."

A conversation with Oliver

Oliver: "mommy I need to talk to you. You've been going to work every day and it's not OK because you're not here."
Me: "honey I need to go to work so I can make money."
"But we have enough money right now and you've been going to work for thousands of years and I miss you. I love you and I need you here!"

Conversations with a 4 year old boy...

"Mommy do you know how long ive been trapped in the house? It feels like hundreds of time."
"Honey you were just playing out back a lottle bit ago..."
"But mommy when I go THAT WAY (points out front) I feel like im free"

Hahaha its raining and hes pissed about it for the first time.

To my babies: Every day I held you in my arms wrapped in a blanket and clenched tight to me. Every day since the day you were born I kissed your forehead and whispered "good night." I tried to inhale you, and to always remember that moment of every day. I always tried to never forget the feeling that jumped around in my heart when you smiled at me When you laughed with me, when you called for me, when you went limp with slumber in my arms because you knew I would always keep you safe. I love you.

Haloween 2013!

We had so much fun! One nice lady said "ohh iblove that family of pirates! " Oliver giggled and said thank you to every person that gave him candy! I'm a proud mama

Proud of my boy!

I must be doing SOMETHING right. Took my 4 year old to toys r us and told him we were there as a reward- to get him a tool belt. When we got there of course he wanted every thing in the store. I tpld him we had a card with 25 on it and thats his limit. He got a $10 tool box and tjen soent the rest of the time carefully picking out what he could get with the left over $15. He would tell me things he would rather not have and some that were more coveted by him. In the end with no arguments he figured out exactly 25 with no arguing or fighting, and when we picked the final toys he jumped up and down and told me that im awesome and gave me a big hug and said thank you, unprompted! From a boy who barely speaks! im so proud! He listens soooo well, even in a store filled with toys!

A little coordination and she should be crawling soon!

My babies are 4 years and 4 months. They won't ever have the same number again! I love my kids so much, and so far im pretty damn man proud of myself!

Hide and seek

Oliver and daddy are playing hide and seek for the first time! Oliver is ever covering good eyes and counting to twenty then saying "ready or not here I come!" To the best of his ability!
